Malloy Investigating Cox Communications Response To Storm

A few hours after writing a post calling for an investigation of Cox Communications, I received an email from David Bednarz, Deputy Press Secretary for Governor Dannel P. Malloy:

I just saw the blog post that you wrote regarding Cox and wanted to assure you that the group Governor Malloy formed to review Tropical Storm Irene and the October nor’easter (the “Two Storm Panel”) has a much broader charge than just looking at the power utilities.  In addition to other aspects related to the storm response, they will review all utilities, including power, water and telecommunications.

Way to go Governor Malloy! Cox should be held to answer for their response to this storm.
