A Second Helping Of Connecticut Turkey Law

by Ryan C. McKeen

In Connecticut, Turkeys are game birds.  Profound, I know.

Why does this matter? Because no person can take or destroy any nest or egg of a game bird. Conn. Gen. Stat. Sec. 26-92.

So the next time you’re out for a hike and stumble on some turkey eggs or a turkey nest you best leave it alone.
