I think so.
And it has nothing to do with electrical wiring.
No one has ever accused me of driving too slow. Don’t get me wrong, I’m no Tony Stewart.
I presently drive a Honda Civic Hybrid. I love the car. It looks like a normal civic but it has the little word “hybrid” on the back.
It’s that little word that scares me.
My car goes as fast as my wife’s car (not a hybrid).
I noticed soon after I purchased my vehicle that people were riding my bumper like never before. I wasn’t driving any slower but the people behind me were pushing me harder. This happens on highways, side roads, and when I start from a stop.
I’ve really come to believe that the word “hybrid” makes other drivers think I’m slower than I am.
My wife sometimes drives my car. She’s noticed the same thing.
I wonder if I should remove the word “hybrid” from my car for my own safety.
