On March 6th, I’ll be sharing the secrets of law blogging to some of Connecticut’s young lawyers. The audience will be comprised of lawyers looking to start blogs.
I founded this site over 4 years ago. What is written here has been picked up by news outlets such as the Wall Street Journal. Some of what is written here actually gets read. This site has had over half a million page views. I’m far removed from the moment that I decided to launch this blog. Lots has changed since then.
To adequately prepare for the seminar, I’ve launched a new law blog on February 16th. The number of page views on my site today: zero. Only some of my closest friends and family know the site exists. Google has yet to discover me. All of which is by design. I want to find my voice before I start trying to attract an audience.
I’ve tried to take all I’ve learned on this site and improve upon it on my new site. The good news is that at least for now – I think new is improved.
I’m going to keep this site. Over the coming weeks, I’m going to write about the development of my new blog. For now, I’m enjoying the lightness of being a beginner. Stay tuned
