Litigators Are Papelbonian

by Ryan McKeen

A really busy week here.  Lest anyone think my heart’s not into blogging. Here’s a quick thought.  :-p

Being a litigator is like being a closer for a baseball team. Get the save you’re a hero. Blow the save you’re a goat.  There’s really no gray area. It doesn’t matter that you may have gotten lucky on the game that you saved because you saved it. It doesn’t matter that you lost the game because you threw the best slider of your career on the corner of the plate and the ump called the pitch a ball. You lost.
