Hard At Work On A New Website For Leone, Throwe, Teller & Nagle

by Ryan C. McKeen

Somehow I became my firm’s tech guy.

My firm existed long before the internet. For years, our webpage looked like it was designed before the internet. In fact, one of the reasons I started this blog was because the firm’s site was so bad. Thankfully it no longer exists.

The present version of our firm’s site is uber-generic.  It’s some stock site done by the folks at Martindale-Hubble. There’s nothing technically wrong with it. But it doesn’t speak to who we are as a firm.

For the past several weeks I’ve been working with (by working I mean driving him crazy) this site’s webmaster Tim Wescott. There’s nothing I haven’t tweeked and changed my mind about in this process.

We’re finally done with the shell of the site. Now it’s time for me to generate content. Put some meat on the bones if you will.

I hope to have the new site “live” to start next week.  We’ve created a twitter page for our firm that will be dedicated strictly to legal tweets. A departure from my personal twitter account that has fallen to the depths of taking pictures of my sneakers.

We’ve registered nearly 25 domain names for our new site.

The images for the site were taken from my camera. I’ll keep adding more images as time goes on.

Like this site, our firm’s site is powered by Word Press. Why? Because it’s easy to make changes to content.

I’m pretty pleased with it so far. Like most things it’s a work in progress.
