Connecticut’s License Plate Scandal

CT political writers and junkies are all abuzz about license plate numbers.

What gets lost in all the coverage and political back and forth is this “scandal” du jour is a problem.

In a mile radius of the State Capitol we have:

1. People who are concerned about giving low license plate numbers to their friends and family;

2. People who have it so good that they worry about their license plate numbers;

3. A newspaper who lacks the staff to cover anything more significant in depth; and

4.  People who worry about freezing to death or where their next meal is coming from.

This is not one of our finest moments as a State.
