A Great Weekend For CT’s Running Lawyers

On Saturday, I participated in the Komen Race for The Cure in Bushnell Park. I “ran” on the “Barmasters Team” organized by Statewide Bar Counsel Michael Bowler. It was a nice race on a nice morning.

Though I had no part in it (team results are determined by the top 4 runners per team), the “Barmasters”  were the top team in the race,  lead by women’s winner, Melissa Stellato.

On Sunday, I ran the Amica Iron Horse Half Marathon. That event was won by fellow blogging lawyer, Michael Keenan with a time of 1:19:54.

On a personal note, I ran the Iron Horse Half in a time of 1:59:38.  I trained for over a year to break the 2 hour mark in the half. The first half marathon that I ran was in October 2009 and my time was 2:18:54.
