<p>I think so.</p>
<p>And it has nothing to do with electrical wiring.</p>
<p>No one has ever accused me of driving too slow. Don&#8217;t get me wrong, I&#8217;m no Tony Stewart.</p>
<p>I presently drive a Honda Civic Hybrid. I love the car. It looks like a normal civic but it has the little word &#8220;hybrid&#8221; on the back.</p>
<p>It&#8217;s that little word that scares me.</p>
<p>My car goes as fast as my wife&#8217;s car (not a hybrid).</p>
<p>I noticed soon after I purchased my vehicle that people were riding my bumper like never before.  I wasn&#8217;t driving any slower but the people behind me were pushing me harder. This happens on highways, side roads, and when I start from a stop.</p>
<p>I&#8217;ve really come to believe that the word &#8220;hybrid&#8221; makes other drivers think I&#8217;m slower than I am.</p>
<p>My wife sometimes drives my car. She&#8217;s noticed the same thing.</p>
<p>I wonder if I should remove the word &#8220;hybrid&#8221; from my car for my own safety.</p>
