Kristen has fished for a living. Her Dad was jealous.
She’s also lived in a treehouse. Yes, an actual treehouse.
Kristen is extraordinary.
When we were considering purchasing FreedMcKeen’s home base, Ryan and Meghan were walking around trying to figure out where they’d construct all the walls needed to make traditional lawyers’ offices. Kristen listened to Meghan and Ryan go on about building walls. Then she turned to them and said “I thought we were pirates. I thought we wanted to design a firm that was different.”
Kristen then walked Meghan and Ryan around the office and pointed out the walls that needed to be torn down. Kristen later took down those walls herself. With a sledgehammer. (The sledgehammer was a gift from Ryan and his wife Allison. It was wrapped in a pink bow. It was one of the best gifts Kristen has ever received.)
Our open, collaborative workspace design with private break-out rooms is Kristen’s concept. When you enter our office, you are seeing Kristen’s work product on display.
If you like our office, we know you’ll love the solutions Kristen will find to your legal problems.
Kristen is not yet licensed to practice law in the State of Connecticut. She graduated from Quinnipiac University School of Law in May, 2012 and has passed the bar exam. (She thanks you for keeping your fingers crossed for her.) While she waits for admission she is our law clerk. And office designer.
