I know this is a law blog not a design blog, but we have been doing a whole lot of design lately. That up there is our new logo. In addition to our largest design project — the office – we are also designing three websites.
The design on Belly Up to the Bar Exam, the project I engaged in while Kristen was studying for the bar is, like the bar exam, finished.
Though the bones are in place, the FreedMcKeen website design remains a work in progress. The logo needs to be updated on it now that it is completed, and there will be additional tweaks over the course of the next month or so. Most notably our friend the awesome Chion Wolf will be taking pictures of us (and of the office once it’s completed) for the site.
This blog is also getting a makeover. When we’re done, our hope is that A Connecticut Law Blog will be stylistically complimentary to the law firm website.
If you’re like me and are interested in such things, the palette for www.freedmckeen.com is here, and the palette for www.aconnecticutlawblog.com is a combination of this and this.
As you know from our videos and posts, the construction on our office is still largely in the demolition phase, but if you are curious what direction we are headed in, the office palette is here. Much of the furniture and fixtures that will be in the space are pinned to my design board on Pinterest.

Hi Ryan, We really like the new logo–looks great! Mark
