Read This And Pass the 2010 CT Bar Exam
by Ryan McKeen
The July 2010 Connecticut Bar Exam starts Wednesday today.
You may be asking who is the Gipper and why should I win it for him? Don’t worry about either of those things. Just continue reading.
It’s A Connecticut Law Blog tradition to publish this post before the bar exam.
For the record, I don’t like Notre Dame at all. But if you read this, you’ll have the luck of the Irish when you sit for the exam.
When I was studying for the exam, I got this email from my friend, Matt Fontaine. He sent it to a bunch of classmates on the day before the bar exam.
We all passed and now so will you:
Well, boys … I haven’t a thing to say.
Played a great game…all of you. Great game.
I guess we just can’t expect to win ‘em all.
I’m going to tell you something I’ve kept to myself for years –
None of you ever knew George Gipp.
It was long before your time.
But you know what a tradition he is at Notre Dame…
And the last thing he said to me — “Rock,” he said -
“sometime, when the team is up against it — and the
breaks are beating the boys — tell them to go out there
with all they got and win just one for the Gipper…
- I don’t know where I’ll be then, Rock”, he said – “but
I’ll know about it – and I’ll be happy

Thanks for the well wishes to us examinees!
Just so you know for future reference the CT exam is now Tuesday/Wednesday. I think this is the first CT exam with the change, but wouldn’t want any future test takers to miss out on any extra luck.
