If you want a good laugh, check out my predictions from 2009. I had the Yankees missing the playoffs and Girardi getting fired.
Here are my 2010 division and wild card predictions:
AL East: Boston
AL Central: Minnesota
AL West: Texas
AL Wild Card: Tampa
NL East: Philadelphia
NL Central: St. Louis
NL West: Los Angeles Dodgers
NL Wild Card: Atlanta Braves
ALCS: Boston and Tampa
NLCS: Phildelphia and Los Angeles
World Series: Boston over Philadelphia
AL MVP: Joe Mauer
NL MVP: Albert Pujols
AL CY Young: Jon Lester
NL CY Young: Roy Halladay
Other predictions: The Orioles are baseball’s most improved team. Watch out for the White Sox in the Central. The AL West is the weakest division in baseball. I don’t buy the Mariners, they have Casey Kotchman hitting third in their lineup. I think this is the year the Yankees get old. Posada, Rivera, Jeter, and Pettitte all played key roles in last year’s championship run. Age catches up with everyone at some point.

Ah yes, and David Ortiz is going to find the Fountain of Youth. Good luck with those predictions.

Alright, both of you. Let’s start the first annual CT Blogger Pick’em challenge. Lay out the same categories I did and make your picks. You’ll get 1 point for each correct pick. Winner gets a $50 gift card (paid equally by the losers) to the restaurant of his choice.

These are the correct predictions.
AL East: NYY
AL Central: MIN
AL West: TEX
AL WC: TB
NL East: PHI
NL Central: STL
NL West: COL
NL WC: ATL
ALCS: NYY and TB
NLCS: PHI and COL
WS: COL over TB
AL MVP: Mark Teixeira
NL MVP: Troy Tulowitzki
AL CY: Jon Lester
NL CY: Chris Carpenter
and i know you said dont include other predictions but i dont really care. Reds are going to be a shocking team and will be in the mix for the Wild Card at the end of the Year. My NL Cy Young is tentative based on health, if Carpenter gets hurt, the Cy Young will go to Halladay. End of season best records belong to PHI in NL, and NYY in NL.

Don’t include the other predictions. Stick with division winners, wild card, LCS, WS, MVP and CY Young.
