Searching For Inspiration, I Go Around The Links

Inspired by the choice of Tiger Woods’ sponsors to have him play the Masters, here’s what I’m reading:

It seems some in big law find blogging to be a “relentless, mind-numbing, never ending task to find worthwhile material to publish”.  On the contrary, it’s easy when you’re willing to be inspired by signs in parking lots. ABA Journal.

Connecticut’s very own Dan Fitzgerald seems to have found lots of worthwhile material to publish. His “Connecticut Sports Law Blog” turned 2 this week. In blog years, it turned 30.

My friends over at UConn Law Blog post about “a guest blogging opportunity”. It seems some blogger is looking for help with the mind numbing task of blogging.

A listserv-inspired Gideon to post about passing on the right.

Few sporting events can be as inspiring as the first round of the NCAA tournament. Before you start an office pool, check out Dan Schwartz’s post on “sheets of integrity”.

In a spring training baseball game, Rays pitcher David Price was struck in the hand with a broken bat. Maple bats have created quite a stir in MLB as they are prone to break. Is MLB negligent for not banning maple bats? And is this the solution?

In the meantime, I hope this weather inspires you to get outside.

Housekeeping

I'd like to thank you for reading this blog, my firm for supporting my blogging efforts, and my team of editors (my mom) for correcting some of my mistakes. I get a number of requests to add blogs to my blogroll. I have no problem doing this if I like your blog. By like I mean, I do not add links from ads that pose as blogs. Thanks again. I hope you enjoy my efforts.
