The BAR/BRI Class Action Settlement: Where’s My Money?

It goes on and on and on and on….-Journey

Can Congress please limit how many attorneys can be in any one given class? Seriously. This lawyer needs his Tiger Woods PGA 2010 with motion control for his Nintendo Wii.

A little under four years ago, I found out that I had been jobbed by BAR/BRI. I was outraged (not really)!

About two years ago, I got notice telling me that I had to file a claim. I did. Sometime after that, I got notice that the case is settled and I was going to get a check. It was like finding money in an old pair of shorts.

Then I got notice that members of the class had appealed the settlement. Evidently, I didn’t get what I deserved!

And it goes on and on and on.

The last update on the official BAR/BRI class action settlement page was May 1, 2009. Way to keep your clients informed.

Someday, I’ll get my settlement check. Probably, not any day soon.

By then I’ll use it to get Tiger Woods Golf for my Wii 3 in HD.
