Connecticut Supreme Court Briefs Now Online

Wow! And the site is powered by WordPress!

Obtaining briefs on issues is often a valuable and productive exercise in the practice of law.

A court decision informs readers of the result but briefs help litigants understand the process of how the result was achieved. A lawyer who reads a decision and reads briefs can understand what arguments were raised by the litigants and how the court dealt with those arguments.

In essence putting Supreme Court briefs online provides the public with another layer of access and insight into Connecticut courts and that’s another step in the right direction.
