Quick Hit: Hillary Duff in Barely Legal

I love the ABA Application for my iPod Touch. It brings breaking legal news to the palm of my hand. If you have an iPhone or iPod touch I highly recommend adding the ABA application.

Over breakfast, I nearly spit out my coffee reading this link: Hillary Duff to Play Teen Lawyer.

My initial reaction was and another legal show. Woot!

Then I read the content of the article. Sometimes it pays to read beyond the headlines and this was one of those times.

Evidently, the brains at NBC decided to name the show, get this, Barely Legal. Pho real.

Do they not have the google at NBC? Are they trying to corner the perv market? Are John McCain’s VP vetting team now employed by NBC?

Inquiring minds demand to know.

Barely Legal is the name of  a…ummm…dirty magazine published by Larry Flynt (of Supreme Court fame in Hustler v. Falwell.)

If Mr. Flynt decides to bring suit for trademark infringement against the rocket scientists at NBC this blog will provide you with live, local, and late breaking coverage of the case.

So there you have it, Hillary Duff is to star in Barely Legal the show, not the magazine.
